My sister & I are staying at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront at Hilton Head Island for our vacation. I was wondering if anyone has had any positive experiences there and any tips on nice places to eat & shop. We are mainly going just to relax & lie on the beach.

I recently went to Hilton Head Island and found that If you want to shop, you should go to Coligny Plaza, there are many cute boutiques. The beaches are very beautiful. Good places to eat are, The Salty Dog, Aunt Chiladas, The Ice Cream Cone, and Steamers. There are many other good restaurants and things to do. I must say, that dolphin watching is amazing. Another thing you may want to do is renting bicycles, because almost everyone on the island rides bikes on the beach and around town. Hilton Head Island is a place that I will definetely visit again soon.
